2016-2017 Goals

The mission of the Center for Academic Success and Excellence (CASE) is to support the persistence and graduation of underrepresented students. CASE does this by providing workshops, positive mentor relationships and access to resources that enhance students’ personal development and academic success at MU.

CASE goals for the 2016-2017 academic year:

  • Develop and provide programs and services that enhance academic enrichment of MU students, strategically focusing on underrepresented/underserved students.
  • Develop and provide programs and services that enhance the financial literacy of MU students, strategically focusing on underrepresented/underserved students.
  • Develop and provide programs and services that enhance the wellness and sense of belonging of MU students, strategically focusing on underrepresented/underserved students.
  • Develop strategic communication and partnerships with academic units, students affairs and university stakeholders that support student success and persistence of underrepresented/underserved students.
  • Review and revise the Summer Transition Program curriculum (Summer Bridge Program).
