Failure to meet the renewal criteria will cause the recipient to be ineligible to receive one of the following scholarships for the following academic year.

• Diversity Scholarship
• George C. Brooks Scholarship
• Donald M. Suggs Scholarship
• Summer Transition Scholarship

The Center for Academic Success & Excellence provides support to students going through the Office of Financial Aid’s scholarship appeal process the opportunity to develop a success plan. A member of the CASE team will meet with students at the end of the academic year to create and track success goals, which is a critical component in completing their scholarship appeal.

In order to complete the scholarship appeal process, students must work with a CASE staff member individually throughout the entire process.

Students must schedule a scholarship appeal meeting with a CASE staff member via MU Connect to complete the appeal process.
