Karen D. Hayes is a student service coordinator for the Center for Academic Success & Excellence. She supports and guides scholars who are awarded the George C. Brooks scholarship and the Dr. Donald Suggs scholarship.
Hayes has worked as an academic advisor in the School of Health Professions and a recruitment & retention specialist in the College of Education. At Mizzou, she has taught the following courses: Health Science 2100, Student Success Center 1150 & 1151 and Business Administration 1500.
In 2018, Karen was awarded the inaugural Inclusive Excellence award from Mizzou along with the School of Health Professions’ long-standing Inclusive Excellence award. She serves as a mentor for Strive for College and The Wild Folk nature school.
