About Us

History

Since 1995, the Center for Academic Success & Excellence (formerly Academic Retention Services) has worked on behalf of the University of Missouri to support the success of students from the time students are admitted until they graduate.

Mission Statement

The Center for Academic Success & Excellence (CASE) supports the educational achievement of students through individualized attention and cohort-based programming. CASE intentionally recognizes students as scholars and promotes positive identity development that contributes to retention and graduation. The center also develops and maintains strategic partnerships with academic units to assist students as they navigate the transition into and through college. CASE serves CASE Scholars, Exploring majors, and Tiger Pathways students.  CASE services are open to all Mizzou students seeking assistance and support with academic engagement and academic success services.
