CASE goals for the 2019-2020 academic year:
- Establish a 90% first-year retention rate for students in the CASE Scholars Program.
- Includes: Brooks Scholars, CASE Scholars, and MU KC Scholars
- Ensure that 90% of the students in the CASE Scholars Program successfully complete 30 credit hours over an academic year (Fall, Spring, and Summer)
- Ensure that 90% of the students in the CASE Scholars Program complete College Algebra and English 1000 by 60 credits
- Establish a 50% 4-year graduation rate for students in the CASE Scholars Program by 2023.
- Ensure 80% of students in the CASE Scholars Program are employed or in graduate/professional school within six months of graduation by 2023.
Means:
Develop and implement a pilot Start to Finish completion program for underrepresented and first-generation low-income students. The Start to Finish program will provide academic enrichment, financial literacy, wellness, career readiness and sense of belonging education to students through a series of workshops, mentoring and access to resources to enhance their personal development and academic success. As well as ensure faculty interactions and research opportunities for CASE Scholars.
